Blue Moon Farms' Summer Camp. We have several options available to suit all ages and specific interest, whether
riding for the first time, or if they have experience and are interested in horse shows or trail riding. We have our new
arena built and our mountain campsite is ready for us to use to for our Trail Riding Adventure Camp where we'll take
trail rides to some of the most breathtaking views in North Carolina. There's also a large arena at our campsite that

For the junior rider who wishes to become skilled in the riding disciplines of Hunter/Jumper, Eventing and Dressage.
Camp Hours: 9 am to 3 pm*.
½ the day is spent in riding and ½ the day in horse related crafts,
learning and activities.
Tuition: $300. Ages 7 to 18. Groups divided based on age and experience.
Needed: Long pants for riding, a boot with a small heel and a correctly fitted certified riding helmet. Best to bring a
change of clothes to use after riding. A visored cap, sunglasses and sunblock are recommended. Cameras are
welcome, at your own risk.
Please send a bag lunch, water and snacks provided.
*Arrangements can be made for parents who need to drop off children early or pick them up late.
Meet The Staff!
Director:
Jennifer Holder, ARICP Certified in Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing. USEA ICP Candidate. Over twenty years
experience in competition. Competed through 2nd Level dressage, 4’ Jumpers, Preliminary level eventing (3’7”);
trained multiple horses and riders through Preliminary level and Ch/AA Jumpers with numerous wins and
championships. Trained with US Team riders Michael Poulin and Denny Emerson.
Counselors:
Andrea Stark has trained multiple horses through Training level eventing. She is an American Eventing
Championships qualifier with numerous wins and championships in Jumpers.
Ashley Nee has competed through 2nd level dressage and Preliminary level eventing, and was a working student with
US Team rider Torrance Watkins. Qualified for the 2007 Eventing Championships on two horses.

Why Not an American Ark and Haute Ecole Equestrian with Manuela Kowitt is a British Horse Society Instructor and
she is also Licensed from the FISE (Italian Riding Federation). Manuela started showing jumpers in Europe at the age
of 8, since she moved to America she has shown for over 10 years in the "A" circuit as a Amateur/Grand Prix rider, as
a Trainer she has had quite a few accomplishments including loaning her stallion for the 1984 Olympics, her most
recent success is her student Nicole Thomas who last year finished 3rd in the Novice division at the American
Eventing Championship.

Campers will have a blast taking riding lessons, playing games on horseback, and going on trail rides. We’ll also learn
all about horses and horse care and handling through ground lessons, games, and hands-on arts and crafts with (you
guessed it) horses as our subject matter.
June 16-20; 9:00 am-1:00 pm: Beginner or 7 & under $225.00
June 23-27; 9:00 am--2:00 pm: Intermediate or 8 & up $250.00
Camp fee includes instruction, supplies,
materials, and a midday snack. Campers supply
their own lunch, water bottle, and approved riding attire

Our next Parelli Kids Clinic will be this Saturday May 24. Open to Kids of All Ages we will have a Beginner Session
10:00 - 12:00 and an Advancing Session 1:00 - 3:00. No previous Parelli experience is necessary! Cost is $35/session.
